We’re sure you can appreciate, it is quite a task to transfer everything from our old building to the new one whilst maintaining the best possible veterinary care for our patients and clients, but please be assured they will remain our priority throughout.
We are planning a phased move to the new building to coincide with the installation of new equipment and to allow us time to ensure every room meets with our high clinical standards and health and safety regulations.
In the short-term, we will be doing more clinical work from our Penryn branch while we pack up Falmouth. Our reception team will tell you which site your appointment will be at when you book an appointment so please ask if you don’t know where our Penryn branch is.
Falmouth clients
Please continue to call our usual number 01326 313991 if you have any concerns about the health of your pet or to book an appointment. Please use our prescriptions@rosemullionvets.com to order repeat medications or food. We will text you when these are ready to collect including where to collect them from. In the week starting 21st August, appointments and collections are most likely to be from Penryn.
Emergency out of hours (all branches)
Our emergency out of hours service will operate throughout the transition. Please continue to ring 01326 313991 and our reception teams will advise you of any changes when you ring.
Until 24th August, this service will continue to be provided in our current Falmouth building.
From 25th August onwards we will provide our Out of Hours service from the new hospital on Tregoniggie Road (next to the football club).
Referrals & Routine Surgery
Referral cases and routine surgery will continue at our existing site until closer to 31st August. As new equipment is installed and existing equipment transferred, some referral cases and routine surgery may be directed to the new hospital in the week commencing 23rd August. Clients will be advised in advance if their pet’s surgery is being transferred to the new hospital.
We hope to cause the least possible disruption to services during this transition. Our phone lines will be operational throughout and our teams at Penryn and Helston will be supporting us.
As a reminder, our new building is still on your doorstep – and now has a lot more space and equipment to allow us to offer a greater range of facilities and services to our clients as well as much more and easier parking!

And don’t forget to follow us on Facebook!
We thank our clients for their patience and understanding during this time but we are absolutely confident that everyone will agree with us that it will be worth it!
