We are a small animal practice with a hospital in Falmouth and branch surgeries in Helston and Penryn, first established in 1885. At Rosemullion we are passionate about small and companion animal care and our skilled team of veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. We are open seven days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care via our hospital in Falmouth.
Helena grew up in Cornwall and decided she wanted to be a vet from an early age. She graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2005 and started working at Rosemullion soon after. Helena enjoys all aspects of veterinary work but decided to focus on surgery as she particularly loves putting things back together again. In 2012 she passed the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Surgery and later gained RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioner status. She enjoys both orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery and is very grateful to be working in a hospital with a great team to provide high standards of clinical care. She became a clinical director in 2012 and has continued this role with increasing responsibility over the last few years. Outside of work she enjoys messing about on the water with her family as well as racing with the Falmouth Working Boat fleet.

Jennifer Hicks BVM&S PgC(SAO) MRCVS
Jen joined the Rosemullion Team in May 2018. She studied veterinary medicine at Edinburgh University, qualifying in 2003, before working as a Small Animal Veterinarian in the South East. Jen is one of our resident ophthalmologists, having recently achieved a post graduate certificate in Small Animal Ophthalmology and been awarded RCVS Advanced Practitioner status! Since joining Rosemullion, Jen has been building on her experience as an ophthalmologist, helping animals from all over the county as part of our referral service. Away from work, Jen is busy looking after her 2 young children, her husband and her Cocker Spaniel. Since moving to Cornwall, she has loved spending time at the beach and exploring the coastal paths and gardens.
