Ian and his partner Alison have recently moved from the big smoke to the North Coast of Cornwall to start a new life by the sea!

Pru grew up in Australia exposed to a wide range of exotic species. After qualifying as at veterinary surgeon at Sydney University, Pru moved over to the UK to continue her career. Two years in mixed practice in Kent were followed by an internship in Exotics at a referral centre in Swindon then she went back into general practice where she completed first a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Zoological Medicine followed by Small Animal Surgery. In her spare time, Pru is a competitive triathlete, having completed an Ironman in 2018. Surrounded by animals and the countryside, she loves the sea and the outdoors, making Cornwall the perfect place for her to settle.

Paul qualified as a vet in July 2008 and specialises in exotics. He enjoys all aspects of exotic medicine and is especially interested in avian medicine and surgery, as well as veterinary care of tortoises. In his career so far he has treated species ranging from fish and tarantulas through to crocodiles and zoo species!
Out of work he can be found gardening and spending time out in the country with his dogs. Paul is currently working with us two days a week. He is available to see our own client’s exotics and also take referrals from other practices.

Outside of work she is a keen marine conservationist, scuba diver and outdoor enthusiast so loves living in Cornwall with its water and land based exploring.

Outside of work she enjoys running and exploring the Cornish countryside and beaches.
