We care for your animals and we also care about animals.
We are located in Falmouth, Helston and Penryn. The Falmouth branch is a fully equipped veterinary hospital, the Helston clinic is a large purpose-built branch surgery and our branch in Penryn is a dedicated small animal surgery.
We provide a complete care service for your animals, anything from a routine consultation to a diagnosis or complex operation. We treat all species of domestic animals and birds.
We assess and treat ophthalmology (eyes), cardiology (heart), orthopaedic (bone and joint) and soft tissue surgery referrals from other veterinary practices based all over the county.
Our practice consists of many vets; usually one works in Penryn, two or three in Helston and the rest in Falmouth, but they move between our sites as the need arises.
We are regularly inspected by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and our Falmouth hospital has been awarded Small Animal Veterinary Hospital accreditation in the Practice Standards Scheme. Helston and Penryn have also been accredited as Core Standards.
Rosemullion Vets Falmouth Veterinary Hospital has fulfilled the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons most stringent requirements to be a member of British Veterinary Hospitals Association.
The Helston and Penryn branches provide similar diagnostic and surgical facilities as the veterinary hospital in Falmouth but don’t have the facility for overnight stays, and don’t have some of the specialist equipment available in Falmouth.
Rosemullion was first established as a mixed animal practice in 1885 on Beacon Street in Falmouth. We separated our small and large animal work in October 2014 with Rosemullion specialising in small/companion animals and Coast2Coast, our sister organisation, specialising in large animal work.
